Airport Zagreb (ZAG LDZA) - Building new passenger terminal

After several months of extensive preparatory work, which began in December 2013, created the preconditions to move into a phase of work on the building of a new terminal at Zagreb Airport (ZAG LDZA).
Work began in May 2014 and are progressing according to plan and the new terminal should be released in early 2017.

The value of the investment amounts to 331 million euros, of which 243 million relating construction, and the rest is intended for maintenance of the infrastructure throughout the duration of the concession. Contractors are French company Bouygues Batiment International and Croatian companies Viadukt, Kamgrad, Zagreb Montaža and KFK tehnika.

The new terminal will be situated on 65,000 square meters, while the asphalt surface spread across 250,000 square meters. Terminal capacity will be raised to five million passengers a year.

Zagreb will so get a modern airport and become one of the major traffic junctions in the region which are greatly looking forward to.
