Saab 340
SAAB 340 is a successful Swedish 30 seat twin-engine turboprop regional airliner which was produced in two versions and firs flew in 1989. It was developed as a hot-and-high-performance aircraft and both models required a flight crew of two, and sported main cabins that could accommodate up to 37 passengers, depending upon the chosen seating configuration, with many available, including the corporate configuration or the combi configuration to allow for the accommodation of cargo.
Since the aircraft entered service with the launch customer Crossair, the Saab 340 has completed over ten million flights. The aircraft is in service with 49 operators worldwide.
