Paris

Paris is the capital and largest city of France. It is located on the banks of the Seine River in northern France, in the center of the province known as the "Paris Region". The population of the city of Paris in its 1860s has been largely unchanged, estimated at more than 2 million inhabitants, but the wider urban area has more than 11 million inhabitants and is the most populous metropolitan area in the Eurozone.

Paris is today one of the world's leading business and cultural centers, with influences on politics, education, entertainment, mass media, fashion, science and art, all contributing to the status of Paris as one of the global cities. The city of Paris is the largest European city economy and the fifth in the world.

In the Paris region, the seat is 37 of the 500 most profitable companies in the world, located in several business districts, including La Défense, the largest dedicated business district in Europe. In Paris, they are also the headquarters of many international organizations such as UNESCO, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the informal Parisian club.

Paris is also, with its many sights, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The Parisian region visits 45 million tourists annually, of which 60% are foreign.

For General Aviation Flights most common is to use Le Bourget Airport (LBG; LFPB), as Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG, LFPG) and Orly Airport (LFPO, ORY) are mostly used for Airliners.
