Split - Rome and other way as well Rome-Split is very popular often used in summer by many clients from Italy and others countries traveling to and from Croatia. Split is center of Dalmatia, biggest town, good starting point for sailing trips so overall just great destination in summer.
Split Airport (SPU, LDSP) is not very big so in summer period is hard to get landing slots for Saturdays as big airplanes have priority. Its very importatn to have this in mind to book in time or to be prepared to use Zadar Airport as alternative airport.
