Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development Branko Grčić and his associates visited the Dubrovnik airport (LDDU DBV) which takes place renovation and construction works which are part of the Dubrovnik Airport Development 2020th

Dubrovnik Airport renovation project applied for funding from the European funds, and received 40 million euros for the period 2007 to 2013 which will be routed to the first stage of the project development and reconstruction of Dubrovnik Airport. Completion of this project Dubrovnik 2020 g. will get modern airport that will be able to receive an annual 4 million passengers.

Minister Grčić has said the government is encouraging the growth and development of public enterprises, and all last year's profit of Dubrovnik Airport in the amount of 36 million kuna, with special provision, left the airport in order to be able to safely finance the project and invest in development.

Project Dubrovnik Airport Development 2020 is estimated at 245 million euros.
